Bridges Home

As Bridges Home, the couple performs regularly in concert.  They have traveled to the Yucatan Peninsula, Hawaii, England, France and Italy to gather stories, play with local musicians and learn songs from around the world.  Their evening concerts feature an eclectic mix of Celtic, contemporary folk and popular acoustic music, along with instrumental duets featuring Hawaiian slack key guitar and ukulele.

They also perform musical theater duet revues in concert and have appeared on stage performing highlights from the Broadway shows Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins and Ragtime.

Artists-in-Residence/Workshops

As a couple they earned their Masters in Education degrees in order to work together in schools as artists-in-residence, where they conduct single-day workshops, week-long educational sessions and family dance events.

Their original children’s musical, “Hawaii Tales: The Land, The People, The Sky and The Sea,” was created to provide culturally authentic material that complements and enhances elementary level curriculum on Hawaii.  The 30-minute performance piece incorporates Hawaiian language, storytelling, hula, creative movement, group singing and student narrative, all accompanied by students playing ukuleles, Orff instruments and percussion.
